O dó como proceso multifacético: implicacións para a práctica clínica e a enfermaría

Resumo

Introdución: O dó é un proceso natural e multifacético que afecta as persoas de maneira única, influído por factores emocionais, sociais e culturais. Comprender este fenómeno é fundamental para ofrecer un acompañamento axeitado.

Obxectivo: Revisar a literatura existente sobre o dó, identificando as súas dimensións, fases e estratexias de intervención eficaces, con especial atención ao ámbito da enfermaría.

Método: Realizouse unha revisión narrativa da literatura relevante, que inclúe teorías clásicas e estudos recentes sobre o dó.

Resultados: O dó afecta múltiples dimensións do ser humano e caracterízase por emocións comúns como a tristeza, a ira e a ansiedade. Os patróns previos de apego e as redes de apoio social son determinantes na resolución do dó. Os rituais e as cerimonias, xunto co apoio empático, son ferramentas clave.

Conclusión: É fundamental formar aos profesionais da saúde, especialmente aos enfermeiros, no manexo do dó para garantir un acompañamento integral e compasivo que contemple as necesidades individuais das persoas en dó.
