Eixe cerebro-intestino: o seu papel nos trastornos de ansiedade

Resumo

Introdución: Nos últimos anos, o eixe intestino-cerebro e a microbiota intestinal foron obxecto de estudo. Este órgano virtual demostrou a súa gran importancia ao participar en múltiples funcións, como a súa capacidade para influír na saúde mental das persoas. Obxectivo: O obxectivo xeral desta revisión bibliográfica é recompilar a evidencia científica máis recente sobre a relación entre o eixe intestino-cerebro e os trastornos de ansiedade. Metodoloxía: Realizouse unha busca exhaustiva en varios metabuscadores utilizando o período de 2018 a 2023. Resultados: Confírmase a evidente relación entre o intestino e o cerebro, particularmente nos trastornos de ansiedade. Ademais, os psicobióticos preséntanse como un tratamento alternativo para os trastornos do estado de ánimo. Conclusións: Aínda que os estudos preclínicos e clínicos sobre estes trastornos aumentan diariamente, aínda queda moito por facer.
