This snapshot was taken in one of the rooms of the oncology ward at HULA. Given its (sometimes) challenging interpretation, I would like to explain how it was made:
I took the photograph at night, from the window of the room looking outward, so you can see another block of the hospital running parallel, with many other windows. If you look closely, you can even see other patients in their respective rooms. At the same time, the reflection of the window where I am positioned allows the entire room interior to be visible. In other words, it’s like two overlapping photographs combined into one.
