Sex and youth: attitudes and sexual behaviors

The need to address the lack of information among youth regarding sexuality is evident. The author of this article falls within an age range that is currently experiencing a significant increase in rates of sexually transmitted infections (STIs). There is a lack of information that must be overcome, and to achieve this, the root of the problem must be addressed. Throughout this work, all possible questions are answered through a thorough literature review and fieldwork consisting of interviews with the protagonists of this story: young people.
These pages aim to lay the foundation for an appropriate sexuality, free from as many risks as possible. The youngest among us reveal the true key to resolving this issue: comprehensive sexual education from various social spheres—educational, familial, and healthcare—key areas in the life of any individual.
