She was born in Lugo in the latter half of the 1950s of the 20th century.
Her training as a nurse took place at the Feminine ATS School of Lugo, under the National Institute of Social Security, located in the Hermanos Pedrosa Posada Health Residence. She was part of the 3rd graduating class (1974-1977).
