Through the COEL Research Programme, the aim is to promote research and encourage the participation of nurses in scientific activities related to the profession. To this end, a programme of grants and scientific awards has been developed, including:
- Grants for the presentation of lectures, oral communications or posters.
- Funding for university master’s degrees and doctoral studies.
- Grants for the development of research projects.
- Grants for the publication of scientific articles.
- Muralla Scientific Awards: scientific category, scientific article and student runner-up award.
The Research Programme also includes the journal Enfermeir@s, the historic publication of the Lugo College of Nursing, which since November 2001 has combined dissemination and the best nursing research in its biannual edition.

The Official College of Nursing of Lugo adopts technical measures, controls, and procedures of a physical, organizational, and technological nature that are reasonably reliable and effective to preserve the integrity and security of your data and ensure your privacy. However, it assumes no responsibility for damages caused by third-party alterations to users' computer systems, electronic documents, or files.
Additionally, all personnel with access to personal data has been trained and is aware of their obligations concerning personal data processing.
Contracts with our suppliers include clauses requiring them to maintain confidentiality regarding personal data accessed due to the tasks performed.
